General Growth Properties, Inc. – General Manager for overall operations of a 1,100,000 s.f. mall and a 200,000 s.f. power shopping center. Responsible to manage daily marketing, specialty leasing, accounting, security and maintenance functions.
New England Development and Management, Inc. – Leasing consultant responsible to train pushcart managers and supervise specialty-leasing programs in six regional shopping malls.
The Rouse Company – Leasing agent responsible to develop and implement mall specialty leasing programs at Connecticut Post Mall and Chapel Square Mall, in Connecticut. Also developed and trained Event Merchandising Managers for three additional Rouse Company properties.
Volunteer Positions:
Mrs. Pollard is very active in the Waterbury, Connecticut community, having sat on nine boards of directors over the past ten years, including chairing the United Way Campaign and serving as the first Main Street Waterbury President.
For her service, she received the Malcolm Baldridge Leadership Award and was the Connecticut Business Women’s Forum Woman of the Year recipient.
